Comment by Amanda Conley on June 3, 2011 at 8:41am: Campbell and I will be hitting the Rail Trail tomorrow morning around 9:30 am if anyone is interested in joining me. I will be there ready for a 2 mile walk/jog with toddler in tow. Come out and join us behind the YMCA.

Comment by Cleveland Park on March 4, 2011 at 8:16am: The Spartanburg Parks Commission would like to invite all area moms to join in on our Stroller Moms Walking Club! The club will meet Monday mornings at the Cleveland Park Amphitheater at 10:00AM from March-October. All moms will receive 1 free miniature train ticket per child present. After meeting at the Amphitheater and getting their train ticket, moms will be free to explore/play in the park! We hope to make this a gathering where area moms can meet, socialize, and get some good exercise in a nice environment, so feel free to spread the word! Hope to see you all there!

I am hoping to make this a more regular part of my routine, if anyone is interested in meeting up for a walk let me know and maybe we can workout a time to meet.

Comment by Nichole on May 12, 2010 at 9:32pm: That week works fine for me Megan except Tuesday. Other than that I am free. My 2yr old also naps around noon so mornings are perfect. I live in the converse heights area. I went to Cleveland park for the first time last weekend and it looked like it had some nice trails. I'm still trying to learn the area so I'm open to other places as well. I haven't been to Milliken or Cowpens, but have been meaning to get there at some point.

If you are still up for Cleveland Park this next week let me know and we can work out the details.

We also love to go to the Cowpens Battlefield and run.....there are a few hills but it is nice and peaceful and a great place for the kiddos to observe nature! Have you guys ever thought of going to Milliken Park also? We went running there over Spring Break...and when you are done you can also feed the ducks!
