A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina

Question about newborn photos?

Does anyone have a recommendation for newborn pictures? I see some photographers whose style I really like, but seeing the portfolios and knowing how these people are to work with is two totally different things.

I completely understand what you mean about liking someone's photos, but not knowing how people are to work with. Especially considering they will be taking photos of a newborn. You really have to work around their schedule, and you never know what you're going to get. For my daughter's newborn photos, she never opened her eyes. Slept the whole time. But they were still really sweet. We did some "family portraits" when she was about 4 months as well. But Amber is a mom, so she will definitely understand how to work with kids! Good luck!

She has lots of sample photos on there, is very reasonably priced and gives you the CD with the photos on it. She is just a super nice lady to boot. We used her for our son's 1 year old photos and they are beautiful!
