A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina
Play Date
Hi Everyone! With this cold weather, my daughter is going a little crazy having to stay in the house all of time. And I would love to get everyone together for a play date! I thought Monkey Joe's would be a good place. Does Tuesday, Jan. 31 sound good? What's the best time for everyone? They close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, but stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Just let me know what works best for everyone!

I signed up for this site back sometime ago, but have just now had a chance to actually "look" at it. I'm having the same problem with my almost 16 month old little boy. He's waaaay to active to be stuck in the house with no one but me! My husband and I heard they had a room for the little ones at Monkey Joe's and had been thinking about taking him sometime soon. If this post is for anyone on this site, count me in. The date you have in mind sounds good. I try to have Tristan in bed by 8:30 at the latest, so my preference would be sometime after his noon nap like 3:00 or so. But since I am new to this, just let me know what everyone else thinks and I'll try to work with that!!

Monkey joe's brought back the 1/2 off on wednesdays deal, or at least it's worth a double check to make sure they are still doing it.

We were just there this past week for a playdate and they are still doing 1/2 price on Wednesdays. Plus under 2 is free so it was only $3 for the two of us. They do have a bounce just for 3 and under, but Alex (20mo) was able to go into any of them and I could go with him as long as I didn't bounce. It took 45 mins for him to warm up to the place but once he discovered the slide that was it. He had a blast! Definitely tons of fun :)

I just added the play date to our events section! It's going to be at Monkey Joe's on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 4-6 p.m. And we will be getting in at half price :) We'll also have a room available to us. I hope to see everyone there! My little one loves this place :)

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome! And Monkey Joe's is great for kids of all ages. They actually have more for older kids, but they do have a few bounce houses that are good for 1-3 year olds as well. I look forward to meeting you and your girls!

Just wanted to bump this back up. The play date is today! It's supposed to be raining this afternoon, so Monkey Joe's is a perfect afternoon activity! Even if you haven't RSVP'd, you can still attend the play date!

I wanted to come out so bad this evening, but my morning sickness hit me full-on today! On top of that, my hubby got sick and came home early from work and little man got sick a few times after dinner, so I'm guessing it's not only morning sickness that I have :(
Next time, we'll be sure to make it - as long as the whole household doesn't get sick lol!

Hey Gina! I'm sorry you and your family have the bug! Nothing is worse than a sick baby. Maybe yourself being pregnant and sick at the same time is worse! I hope you all feel better soon! I look forward to meeting you at the next play date!
