A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina

NEED FREE OR CHEAP MMO FOR WED!!

Hey everyone! I am working at a bookstore near my house right now just on Wednesdays from 10-2 and I LOVE it. Its totally my dream job! The problem is it doesn't pay much. My neighbor has kept my 3 year old the last two Wed but wont be able to any more and she hasn't been charging me anything. I could only pay $10-$15 max but was hoping to find one of the free MMO programs near my house. I dont know how to look for them. There are so many churches around I could literally spend days calling them all to find out who has one. If anyone knows of any, please let me know. The first two weeks of Oct she is wanting me to work Mon and Wed 10-2. Buncombe UMC on Aug offers something thats about $20 per day but its only Tues thru Thurs and the bookstore only needs me Mon and Wed right now.

If anyone can help, please let me know! Oh, I live near Furman U in Greenville.

Hum. I'd say trying to find a babysitter is best considering your schedule varies. Can you ask around some of your SAH mom friends? Or like any retired grandmom type figures in your life?

Taylors First Baptist has a MMO that lasts from 9-2 and I think either the Methodist or Baptist church in downtown Greer goes those hours too. Problem is that he is 3 which most places switch over to preschool, not MMO.

Do you go to a gym? Some gyms that have nurseries have drop in MMOs too. Like, you can drop your kid off there (without working out at they gym during that time) for a few hours for a cost. Don't know if you could go 10-2 though. I'm not much help. But good luck!
