Moving to the Area
Hi Moms! I'm new to the group and hopefully will soon be new to the area! My husband and I are trying to find a rental home in District 5, 6 or 7. He is working in Spartanburg now and drives 4 hours everyday!! We have 2 children (15 months and 4) so I'm sure I will have childcare/school questions soon. We have been looking for a rental home on the usual sites but I wanted to see if anyone knew of anything that isn't posted (friend selling that may want to rent, etc.). We need at least a 3/2 with a room that I could use for an office. Also we would love to have a privacy fenced back yard for our dogs. Does anyone know of anything? Thanks for any help!

Hi Leslie! Welcome to the area! I'm sure you will love living here! It's a great place to raise a family, and we have some really great schools in the area! I don't know of any rentals right now, but I'll definitely ask around. Good luck with your search! Be sure to ask us if you have any questions about neighborhoods or schools.

Thanks Ashley! We are looking forward to getting down there and getting settled (we live in the NC mountains now). Any info would be a huge help!

Welcome to Spartanburg!
I have been renting from Hinson Management. They have been great the past 5 years.
My husband and I just put in an offer to buy a house. If we do, we will move out of our current rental with Hinson. I was so surprised to see it is exactly what you listed. 3 BR, 2 Bath, an extra room, fence. District 6.

Also, there are some postings here for daycares which may be of help.
