A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina

CHILDCARE

Does anyone know of a childcare facility in the Boiling Springs, SC area (preferably) that provides childcare for mothers who just need a day or two at a reasonable price, not what I would pay for the entire week?

I've talked to a couple places, but I don't want to have to pay full price if he's only going a day or 2 a week!

I think Lake Bowen Baptist charges by the day. Lots of places offer 3 day a week programs, but I'm not sure about per day. But I think someone told me that Lake Bowen Baptist would work with you on things like that. They have an Inman address, but it's on the Boiling Springs side of town. It's off Sugar Ridge road. If I can think of anymore I'll let you know.

My son used to go to Lake Bowen when he was younger , we paid by the day but that was five years ago they may have changed. They are really nice though and if I ever have to send my children back to daycare that is the place I would take them.

Speaking of Lake Bowen, can anyone tell me an address or how to get to the Lake Bowen park (anchor park, i think)?

You just go straight down Highway 9, away from Boiling Springs, back toward the Lake Bowen area. You will pass some neighborhoods. It's right before you go over the bridge, on the left. It's also the landing, so you will probably see some trucks with trailors. It's a GREAT park. We live close by, so we take our daughter a lot.
