This is pretty scary.   If you have trouble with the link, search youtube for the 4yr old McDonald's chesseburger

OK, I'm scared to look at this link. Pregnancy has given me a bad gag reflex! What is the picture? Like what a cheeseburger looks like after 4 years? Please tell me it was not actually served to someone?
It's not anything gross. The lady talking in the video is actually the author of several diet books and has been on Dr. Oz.
She had a speaking engagement and a man gave her a McDonald's bag. The lady thought it was her lunch. No, instead it was a burger that the man had had for over 4 years. The burger has not been sealed or frozen, nothing done to preserve it. THE BURGER LOOKS PERFECT! The bun has started to crumble a little but otherwise you would think it was something she picked up today. The fries are in the same condition. She actually shows the 4 year old fries in comparison to pieces of potatoes that she cut that are 3 months old. She says in the video that when she flies, airport security will take the moldy potatoes from her, because they wont allow them on the plane.
WOW! The Oprah episode on Food Inc. is going to be on today @4, I'm taping it. The things we eat are often times very very weird.
And to think about how much I LOVE McDonald's...wonder if all fast food is like this? Maybe I will do my own experiment.
I thought about that too. I wonder if the other fast food places are the same. If you have seen Food Inc. it really will change the way you eat and think about the food you buy. My family has been borderline vegetarian for some time. I have started shopping more at Whole Foods, Earth Fare and Fresh Market. I am hoping to get a garden going soon.
