birthday/mothers day

for my 21st birthday/1st mothers day this sunday, instead of going out drinking like normal 21 year olds do around here i would rather get pampered a little and have a nice dinner at olive garden. i want to add highlights to my hair, get acrylic nails, and get a spa pedicure (because who dosent appreciate a good foot rub after not being able to reach your feet for the better part of 9 months? lol ) anyone know where i can get this done at that wont cost an arm and a leg?

Hi Rachel! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! We were out of town all last week, so Mother's Day was a bit hectic in my household. Did you find a place to pamper yourself? I love doing things like that too! We bought my mom a massage for mother's day, and that's what I got for my birthday a few months back. I don't usually get my nails and toes done, because I'm weird about people touching my feet. (This is so strange...I know. I'm the only girl I know who will gladly pass up a pedicure.) But I know a lot of people that go to the one at the Dorman Center. I've heard that they are very reasonably priced.

hey i had an alright mothers day. i didnt get to go out and get pampered (which i knew was a long shot to begin with) but i did use a little bit of my birthday money and made a hair dye run and i put some highlights in my hair. i figured they would last longer than nails or a pedicure would anyways.

Ashley - you are not alone - LOL. I also would pass up a pedicure :) Never had one....never plan on it either!
