A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina

Did any of you see where Beauty and the Beast in 3D is coming out in January? This was my favorite Disney princess movie growing up, and I definitely want to go see it. My daughter, who turned 2 in August, is really starting to get into the "princess" stuff. Her favorites are Bell and Cinderella. Do you think 2 is too young to take to the movies? I cannot even remember the last time I went to a kid's movie, so I don't really know the ages parents start to take them. Any thoughts?

We took our son to see Cars 2 when he was about 2. He did okay had to take him out for couple of mins but snacks always help!

We waited till just before Nathan's 4th bday for his first movie (Cars 2). He did great! I probably would have taken him to see Toy Story 3 the summer before had his baby brother not been born right before it came out. With kids movies, people are (well, should be) more understanding about kids talking and such. Just explain to her that she should be quiet, bring snacks, sit near an exit. I have not seen Beauty and the Beast in a LONG time, but just be aware of scary parts. I remember there is a "kill the beast" song. Might scare young ones. Or it might just go right over their heads!

We haven't taken our almost three and a half year old to the movies yet - we were waiting for the right time and the right movie! We are going to give the Beauty and the Beast one a try though - excited!
