A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina

Hi!

Hi, everyone,

I'm Jan with a 7 year old boy, Jake. Was wondering if there are any other "older" moms on the boards? I had Jake, my first and only, and turned 40 shortly after. Would love to hear some of your thoughts on being a mom later in life!

Jan - welcome to the site! I think you'll find moms of all ages and background on the boards, including some grandmothers. There is a core group of us that were all over 30 when we had our children, so definitely a variety of ages. I think being a more mature mom offers many advantages, and we will look forward to hearing your perspective on things. Glad to have you here!

Of course, I forget sometimes and think I'm still 25! LOL I could really use some other "mom" friends, no matter what age. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone!
